12 Juny - Pujant a la uni - God & the paperclips

Hi everyone,
I found another paperclip yesterday, before an important exam, i was feeling really anxious and nervous. It's the first one I find that's pink! :)
In the morning, my friend and me listened to the song "On My Own" for like 7 times in a row! If you don't know that song, please go check it out. It's by Ashes Remain. I'ts one of my favorites of all time.

Ahir vaig torbar un altre clip, aquest cop pujant de casa meva a la Universitat. El vaig trobar 2 minuts abans de començar un dels examens més dificils del grau. I és el primer que trobo que és rosa! Em va fer molta il·lusió perquè estava molt nerviosa per l'examen i em va ajudar molt trobar-me'l. Em vaig relaxar, vaig riure molt, i vaig fer l'examen molt bé. ;)

Realment em va encantar, perquè just abans havia vist un clip de cabell i li vaig dir a la meva amiga "mira un clip!!" i em va respondre "Aquest no conta! jajaja!" i quanta raó tenia!

8 June - in the sidewalk - God & the paperclips

Hi there!
So i found a paperclip today.

I was very down, and when i mean down, i mean down... down.
My exam was not as good as i expected it.
I was going to meet my friend to eat dinner together.
And there in the middle of the sidewalk, pum! my paperclip.
We talked about the paperclips with my friend, and i told her.

- i need to change.

That's what i feel i have to do. I have to improve. I will improve. No buts, no maybes. It's my time to shine. It's time people know the real me.

I saw the star thing-y again today. The last time it was at the beach, I was freaking out, today it was veeery special.

- i'm gonna be who God created me to be. No more excuses, no more.

23 May - Restaurant St. Rémy - God & the paperclips

After writing yesterday about the paperclips... Well i found the first one after my first blog entry. Yay!

It was a really special one (as always :D )

So i went walking outside because i saw an empty gym in Pokemon Go nearby. I was really stressed from the day and i felt like walking a bit. It was around 9 pm, I arrived at the place of the Gym and i couldn't have access to it because it was inside a hospital (?!) So i kept walking a bit around the block. I discovered new things like schools and really cool houses. When i started walking i said to God "I wish today if i see a paperclip is not on the ground,... why are they always on the ground?" That's all i remembered saying... I kept walking for about 20 minutes, started to feel better, so i went back home, I wanted to take the same road back but i saw a cool cosy restaurant with warm lights on the other and i went to the direction of the restaurant instead.

I was in front of the restaurant, there was a butler in front of the door, and the restaurant looked very expensive and fancy, but i wanted to go inside and look around, at least see the menu. And, that's exactly what i did...

That's when i found today's paperclip. NOT ON THE GROUND! ha ha ha! :D 

I got really exited and i took a photo. Sometimes i feel like He does this crazy thing just for me. How did i see the restaurant? How how hooow did i know i had to go that direction? Even went inside when there was a man on the entry... and it looked expensive! gaaaahhhhhn <3 I love it. 

I love it :) 

Do you find any paperclips as signs of God too? I want to know! :) 

btw, Rémy!! That's the name of Ratatouille's mouse right? Woooooh! I love that movie. I really like Pixar :)

I keep finding paperclips everywhere...

I keep finding paperclips everywhere... And I know they're from God. 

Does this title sounds weird to you?

Well it can be intriguing right? But it's true. At least that's what i found in myself. Let's start by the beginning. 

It was a Wednesday,  October 19th, 2016, i woke up in the morning, i wanted to go to the mall in the city of Barcelona. 

I was already on my way, not far from home, when i noticed a big paperclip on the floor, it was the biggest paperclip i’ve ever seen. I was walking and i thought “what is that doing here?, that’s funny” and i kept walking, after less than 5 minutes i saw exactly the same paperclip & same size on the floor again. I couldn’t help it but to pick it up. I was puzzled. 

I took the bus while watching the paperclip, and wondering what was it... I arrived at the mall. And to my surprise i found another paperclip, this one was white and small. I started laughing and watching up to the sky, I KNEW it was a sign from God! but what it was even more funny when just 20 meters away I saw another one, completely different.  And i couldn’t stop laughing... 

Later that day I had one of the most memorable arguments with one of my best friends and felt completely horrible and exhausted. I knew God was with us, we're both Christians but i felt so far away from Him...

After the fight i forgot about the paperclips, and i forgot they came from God.

But it happened again, on a Thursday evening, one month later, November 17th, (it’s a very special day for me...) I was in the train, when me and my friend were talking about the movie Serendipity. “Finding something good without looking for it.” The movie is about signs and fate, a love story. 

After talking to her, i had to leave the train, doors opened and i saw the paperclip most perfectly put on the ground, it was on the door “I” decided to come out, it was 5 cms away from the door, it was blue, and completely straight. I picked it up. And thought about God, Serendipity and Paperclips again. That’s when my paperclip journey truly began.

Since that paperclip on November 17th i have found countless paperclips, and seen many on tables, on-line, shops...

They appear always when i’m walking, when i’m thinking about life, about God, or what should i do with my life...

i found one when i was thinking i had to help the poor.

i found one in my parents car in front of a mountain that has the same name as one of my best friends.

i found one after discussing sex before marriage with a friend.

i found one when i was to ask for a job, and found one after being accepted.

i found one after walking a lot to get healthy food.

i found two one day i was feeling really stressed.

i found one in the middle of nowhere.

i found one at night, in my small town. 

i found one when i was feeling bad of myself.

i found many when i was thinking about God and life.

I found two in Germany.

i found one before doing something i didn't want to do but it was necessary.

One of the most shocking was on March 21st, 2017th. 

I was praying to God as I usually do when i'm walking. Specifically that day i was praying that my future husband knows Him, and just after thinking "I really hope he knows You God... I pray my husband is a Christian" I found not one, but TWO paperclips, bound. 

Later that week i noticed there's an emoji of two linked paperclips on Whatsapp. <3

The second most shocking was on 9th of April, 2017. That i found one absolutely in the middle of nowhere when i was walking, just relaxing. 

You know what have i realized... after more than 30 paperclips found? 

That He knew i would pay attention to that small thing :) He knew He would make me laugh and feel loved just by that. I always feel at peace and very loved when i find one. And it usually happens when I least expect it, or when I'm very sad or when i need to make a decision, it's like a pat in the back saying "i've got you. Remember?" 

That's why i created this blog. I want to know the dates when i have found one and what was i doing while i found it. And the thought that this may have some relation to something else gets me really exited. :)
